Top 10 dogs suitable for office workers

After a busy day of work, office workers may not be relaxed but empty when they return home. Raising a dog is a good choice, but what kind of dog is suitable for office workers? Pets raised by office workers need to be taken care of, and we don't have much time to play with them.  I counted ten kinds of dogs that are suitable for office workers.

1. Miniature Schnauzer

The appearance of Mini Schnauzers is very distinctive, they are strong and "square". Miniature Schnauzers have long beards, eyebrows, and feathery hairs on their legs. They have long, thick fur, which gives them the appearance of a pet dog kept at home. The Mini Schnauzer recognized by the American Kennel Club has only three colors, black, pepper and silver black. The miniature schnauzer is a strong and lively terrier dog. It is similar to its close relative, the standard schnauzer, in general form, and has the same agile and active personality.

2.Australian Silky Terrier

Cheerful and lively, sometimes naughty, very suitable for being used as a companion by humans. This dog has the characteristics of an energetic terrier and strong self-assertion. The Silky Terrier is cute, cheerful, and smart. When a stranger approaches, it will be alert. It is an ideal watchdog or family dog for urban residents. Very suitable to accompany the elderly and children, suitable for office workers and apartment raising.

3.Pug

Pug, native to China, charming and elegant. At the end of the 14th century, it was officially named "Pug" and its meaning was "hammerhead", "clown", lion-nosed, or little monkey. Pugs are considerate and cute small breeds. They don’t need exercise or regular hair trimming, but they need companions. The appearance is more wrinkled, and walking like a boxer is its characteristic. It uses the sound of grunting breathing and the sound of sniffing like a horse as a means of communication. At the same time, this dog has a good and clean personality, these characteristics have become the reason why it is widely loved.

4.Bichon Frise

An excellent hug dog. From the 13th to the 14th century, a dog breed similar to today's shape appeared. It was originally improved from the native dog of the Canary Islands in the Spanish territory. Its ancestors have the descent of the water harrier and were improved by the influence of the Maltese island dog and the poodle. Beloved by the upper class, in the 16th century noble ladies bathed this dog with perfume and bathed with this dog.

5.Shih Tzu

Native to China, originated in the 17th century, generally 25-27 cm tall at the shoulder, 5-7 kg weight, 12-14 years old, originated in Tibet, was kept in a lama temple as a watchdog. Manjushri, the god of lama teaching and asking questions, often carries a small dog that turns into a lion. The Tibetan Lhasa, which looks like a lion, is considered to be closely related to the lion. It was taken to Europe in 1908, and the Shih Tzu Club was established in England in 1935. In 1969, the United States recognized this variety and registered it. Shih Tzu has longer hair and needs frequent grooming.

6.Poodle

Poodles are divided into three types: standard type, mini type, and toy type by AKC standards according to their body size. The poodle has a unique temperament and a changeable shape, which has won the hearts of many people and gives people a beautiful and clever impression. The IQ of the poodle is similar to that of four or five-year-old children. Repeat the new instruction five times, and it will understand the meaning and remember it easily. When the master gives an order, they have a 95% chance of complying.

7. Chinese Shar-Pei

The Shar-Pei is an ancient dog breed from southern China. Its name comes from its tough coat. It is one of the most precious dog breeds in the world. The Shar-Pei has wrinkled and sagging skin and gentle temperament. He was once an excellent hunting dog. After long-term careful cultivation and improvement, with its rare appearance and unique personality, it has become the world's favorite fashionable companion dog. The Shar-Pei is a vigilant dog, of medium size and a square profile.

8.Maltese

The height of the Maltese dog is 20-22 cm, the weight is 2-3 kg, and the life span is 13-15 years. It is the oldest dog breed in Europe. It is native to the island of Maltese, a British territory in the Mediterranean, and named after it. The Maltese dog has a history of nearly 3,000 years. In ancient times, it was favored by ladies with its dignified and elegant posture. In the existing handicrafts and artworks of the Mediterranean coast, the lifelike artistic image of the Maltese dog is often seen.  Maltese dogs are gentle little dogs, pets for the whole family. He has deep feelings for the owner, very hostile to strangers. It has a cute temperament, sometimes pranks, and is very personal. You can safely let it play with children.

9. Cardigan Welsh Corgi

There are two types of Welsh Corgi: Cardigan Welsh Corgi and Pembroke Welsh Corgi. It is one of the oldest grazing species. Comparing the two, the Pembroke Corgi has a shorter body shape, straighter and lighter leg bones, and the Welsh Corgi has a better texture on the back. But in terms of temperament, the Pembroke Corgi looks restless and easily agitated, not as easy to tame as the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. From Richard I in the 12th century to Queen Elizabeth II, the Corgi has always been a pet of the British royal family. The proportion of the side profile of the entire body is that the length is much greater than the height. The tail is very low and resembles a fox tail. The overall impression is: beautiful, powerful small dog, very good speed and endurance, strong structure, but not rough.

10. Papillon

The Papillon is named after the long hair on the ears that stand upright, like a dancing butterfly. Height 20-28 cm, weight 2-5 kg, life expectancy 10-14 years. Originated in the 16th century, native to Spain, it is one of the oldest varieties in Europe. The Papillon was also known as the "Squirrel Hunting Dog". It was named after the tail raised towards the back resembling a squirrel. The most special thing about him is his eye-catching big ears and petite figure, so he is loved by many ladies who love beauty. He has a lively personality, bold and flexible, and easy to approach, warm and docile to the owner, but very exclusive, and will be jealous of the third party.
